ABOUT ME
My Background
I am a proud mother of 13-year-old twins and live in the quiet neighborhood of Blackburn Drive with my husband (above) and my in-laws since 2017. My favorite pastime is taking the children around the creek near our home and enjoy nature. I love cooking, reading, and gardening. I often enjoy sharing these passions with my own children and the children in my care.
Experience
After graduating from University of Dhaka, majoring in English Literature, I worked as an educator for 3 years in a school and university. I came as an immigrant to Canada in 2005. Since then I am working in childcare setting in different capacities.
I have earned the highest level of Early Childhood Education available in Alberta (Childcare Supervisor, Level 3). To ensure the rendering of best care, I consistently improve myself through various workshops and training.
With 16 years experience in the field of childcare I have created a child friendly environment in my day home where children enjoy the unbounded opportunity for play and exploration.
Currently I am taking some courses on Psychology through Athabasca University which is really helping me to better understand the children in my care.
